I recently returned from Amsterdam and thoroughly loved the culture. So when I found this place, naturally I was going to try it. The owner nailed it!!! This little cafe is perfection!! The European plate options, the quality of the food, the service, and even GF options. It took a bit for my Belgian waffle to come out, but it was because there was something wrong with the batch of batter and she (the own) was not going to give me any less then her best. She made a new batch of batter and then hand delivered to my table with apologies (which was not necessary) This shows me she cares about the integrity of every single plate. Well done

I recently visited the Amsterdam Local at 518 Madison St, in Clarksville, TN. While visiting the kids in town, we went to visit this coffee restaurant. Parking is an issue and they are glad to brag about in on a counter display. The mine wasnt that long but a good wait happened anyways. And we had to grab a table so we all could sit at. The food we ordered was very good. It's worth the effort.

This place strikes the perfect balance between cozy and upscale. The ambiance is warm and inviting, yet effortlessly chic- A perfect spot to relax and indulge . The food was absolutely delicious. And the coffee ? Perfection

Amsterdam Local isn’t just a café it’s a full sensory escape to the Netherlands right in the heart of Clarksville! From the moment you step inside, the warm, rustic Dutch decor with its wooden accents and canal-inspired touches makes you feel like you’ve been whisked away to a cozy Amsterdam brown café, and the incredibly welcoming staff greets you with genuine smiles and attentive service that makes every visit feel special. Their coffee is rich and expertly crafted, their savory bites are fresh and flavorful, but the real stars are their decadent Dutch desserts think stroopwafels with that perfect caramel chew, buttery speculoos treats, and indulgent chocolate delights that melt in your mouth each one so authentic you’ll swear they were flown in straight from Amsterdam. The ambiance strikes the ideal balance between lively and relaxed, with soft chatter, the comforting aroma of freshly baked goods, and just the right amount of European charm to make you want to linger for hours. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Clarksville, this place is an absolute must visit it’s rare to find a café that nails every detail so perfectly, from atmosphere to service to unforgettable flavors, but Amsterdam Local does it all with effortless grace, leaving you already planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your last bite. An unforgettable 10/10 experience! ????????

Such an amazing find! Their chai blend was delicious, as was the food. I would include photos of the grilled cheese (comforting yet also sophisticated) but all I have is an empty plate. At the suggestion of staff, I subbed salad for the chips. The salad was amazing! Such a lovey mix of greens and micro-greens with a glorious balsamic dressing. My husband had the medium charcuterie board. And by medium they mean HUGE. An eclectic variety of cheeses, fruit, and salami paired with nuts and a perfectly spicy jam. It occurred to me that I needed to share this amazing find before the charcuterie board was bare, so there is photographic evidence of the last 1/3 of the board. And, bonus - fun and eclectic surroundings with both indoor and outdoor options with excellent service. TLDR: 10/10 recommend

So many reasons to go! The food was great (I had the Euro Plate and added the Scottish smoked salmon - excellent). There was also a selection of seasonal beverages (tea, coffees, cold brew). The atmosphere is relaxed, with two different areas to sit. In good weather, there is also seating outside. Parking is available. There is also a small shopping area where you can purchase local goods, ceramics, tea, souvenirs etc. Located in the downtown area, it is easy to walk and see the beautiful buildings in and around town. Highly recommend!

Such a cute little local cafe. My Mediterranean wrap and iced coffee were fantastic. Love the atmosphere, it does feel a little crowded, but that was during peak hours. Food took a little while to come out, but it was a super packed day. Staff were friendly, definitely will be back.

ATMOSPHERE 10+ ⭐ I wish I could give this coffee shop ALL THE STARS!!!! The atmosphere, the service, the food!!!! *chef’s kiss* Clarksville struggles with consistency concerning is food establishments but their coffee shops!!! Immediately upon walking in you are greeted and engulfed with the beautiful aromas of freshly brewed coffee, steamy teas, and deliciously baked goods! I cannot recommend this place enough!
